Plantronics USB Speakerphone

Headset maker Plantronics has unveiled an accessory that makes VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) telephony more accommodating—a new USB-attached speakerphone.

The Plantronics Calisto 420 USB Speakerphone is a nearly square box containing an omnidirectional microphone with speaker. There are volume and mute buttons and a headphone jack with option for private calls. The USB cable attaches to any computer, but if your PC is an under-desk tower, you may want to add a USB extension cable.
