I purchased this item to weatherproof my new X100VI, but upon arrival, I noticed that it wouldn’t fit the camera’s original cap. I asked to return the item, but my request was not accepted by B&H because I don’t have the original packaging — which was a simple, thin cardboard pack. Terrible product ecosystem, even worse customer service. I will not be purchasing from this store or this brand again.

the 49mm Filter Thread is just female or male on one end and female on the other end?
The part of the adapter that attaches to the camera lens does not have threads and is a type of mount specific for the lens.And the front is a standard 49mm female thread for filters.

Does this adapter’s silver color have the same hue as the x100v’s silver? I find the V’s silver is some what different to the old models’ silver.
This silver finish on this adapter would be the same as on the X100V.
